So you have to look at is as the noun is "muscle shirt," which is two words but still a single concept. So the adjective "cut" is modifying the two word noun "muscle shirt." It is a muscle shirt that you cut yourself by cutting the sleeves off a t-shirt. As Jake1973 said, the first post does explain the concept and there are even posts earlier in the thread that show how to make one yourself.But the adjective is modifying the noun muscle and not shirt right? I always had trouble with that sentence diagramming. It should be something like “the cut shirt to show off muscles.”
