My Dad had a similar attitude, that nature intended our genitals to be free and not restricted by clothing which is unhealthy. He saw no need for clothing in general around the house but had absolutely no use for underwear of any kind.

I googled it a while ago cause I was curious. The dick and balls get darker during puberty due to high levels of testosterone. There are also studies that show men with big balls tend to have higher testosterone levels which means more sperm production too.
